The Doctor of Ministry (DMin) Program at the Zinzendorf School of Doctoral Studies concluded a week-long series of oral defense sessions last week. The sessions took place from April 15 to April 19, 2024.<\/p>\n

Around a dozen DMin candidates from diverse ministerial backgrounds participated in the defenses. Each candidate’s doctoral committee was actively engaged in the defense process for 1.5 hours, which included a presentation, a Q&A session, and an evaluation.<\/p>\n

The candidates, representing various tracks such as Education, Mission, Business, Youth, Design, and Technology, presented cutting-edge topics related to the Christian faith and ministry. Several candidates explored new methods for utilizing social media and Christian music broadcasting to enhance the effectiveness of Christian ministries.<\/p>\n

Dr. Tom Cowley, Director of the DMin program, expressed satisfaction with the quality of the candidates’ papers and projects for the Academic Year 2023-24.<\/p>\n

Candidate Agnes Yoon shared her gratitude, stating, “I am very thankful to the Lord for allowing me to participate in the DMin program, a journey that has enabled me to reflect on God’s calling. Engaging with fellow Christian ministers while working on the DMin project has also been a rejuvenating and empowering experience. I am equally indebted to all the faculty who provided invaluable guidance and advice, helping me navigate this doctoral journey to its conclusion.”<\/p>\n
